The 2012 NYC VBS short-term missions trip again aims to help our missionary Rebecca Lee's ministry (Dorcas Center) run a week of VBS for "Chinatown" kids in Brooklyn. Acceptance to participate will be decided after the normal application and interview process.

We plan to conduct baptism on Easter Sunday (4/8). Classes for baptism candidates and prospective transfers will starts on February 26th. If you have accepted Christ as your Savior & Lord, and like to consider this church as your spiritual home, please let the church staff or elders know.

If you have been a member of another church and like to count this church as your spiritual home (supporting the church through regular prayers, service & finances), please let the office know. Qualifications for membership: - confess Jesus Christ as Savior & Lord - have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit - have been attending Sunday School regularly for over three months - agree with the purpose, direction, administration & discipline of the church

Congratulations to Chuan-Fu Lin and Yuyun Peng for the birth of their baby daughter, Elizabeth, on Jan. 30, 2012.

Parking Please do not park on the lawn or in front of our neighbor’s properties. To help us manage parking, please
* park near the old BB&T Bank. We encourage healthy, young drivers of low- occupancy vehicles (LOV <2) to park there.
* register your cars by filling out a parking registration form that can be found on the welcome table, and return it to the office. (if you have not done so.)
* please do not block other’s car. If you do, please post your cell phone on your windshield or dashboard.
* volunteer to be a parking lot manager or monitor. (Who would like to help us?)

Sermon CDs can be ordered ($1 each) by filling out the sign-up sheet on the door to the translator booth. There is no charge if you provide your own CD or flash drive for us to copy for you. We can put multiple sermons (MP3 format only) on a single CD. Our Policy for use of Sermon Messages are as follows:
   - The messages are for use by our members and regular attendees.
   - If the message will be distributed outside the church, please obtain permission from the speaker and inform church secretary.
   - Please do not disbribute the message to people or organizations that may antagonize the church.

Building project update

Please continue to uphold the building through praying for the building permit application, coworkers and fund raising. The master planning goal for 2012 is $300,000 (building fund offering and fund raising only). As of January 29, we received $18,491.70. Our theme is: "Not equal giving, but equal sacrifice."
