As implied by our name, one of our church's chief purposes is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as set forth in the Bible in this locality, especially, but not exclusively, to the Chinese. People from all ethnic backgrounds are always welcome to attend our church activities, but to maximize our effectiveness, our ministry is tailored to relate to those from a Chinese background. This includes various ministries to overseas-born Chinese (from China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan) and to American-born Chinese.

To facilitate the diversity of Chinese and non-Chinese people in our congregation, our church ministry is subdivided primarily by language preference, consisting of Cantonese, English, and Mandarin congregations. We have separate worship services in Chinese (combined Cantonese and Mandarin congregations) and English, and we also have language-specific Sunday School classes and fellowship/cell groups to provide more interpersonal settings for fostering spiritual growth and community among our congregants.

Although we have language-specific ministries, we also foster unity of the different congregations through regular church-wide activities including fellowship lunch after church each week, church picnics, joint outreach and missions programs, and other special programs. Another distinctive of our church is our philosophy of intergenerational worship and family-based youth ministry.
